END-OF-SEMESTER REFLECTION

1. I understand human psychology and my feelings better because of my psychology 10200 courses. My writing skills are better than last academic year because of my FIQWS writing course. I learned different writing styles and improved at outlining and organizing my writing.
2. I’m proud of how well I did in my psy10200 class. When I first took the course, I found it tricky, but I did better than expected.
3. The tools that helped me were YouTube, the CCNY library database, and online books.
4. My news feature assignment could have gone better. I could’ve done better.
5. My insight into dealing with challenges is that I have to understand that life’s not alwaysfair, but you must give your best in everything you do and achieve what you want.
6. I learned from overcoming the challenges to manage my time more efficiently. Whilejuggling work and studies are challenging, I must set time to study each day and avoid

   putting things off till later.

7. My professors helped me a lot throughout the semester. They were always there to assistme when I needed their help.

8. My mother took care of everything else, so I didn’t have to worry about anything else and could focus on my education. My mother made it possible for me to get to this point in the semester.
9. I am grateful to have made such good friends in this college. I know they’re always there for me and got my back.
10. I still haven’t felt at ease yet, but after the finals, I’m sure I’ll feel happiest when I go back home and see my father.
11. I’m proud of myself because even though I came only two years ago and am still new to this country and culture still managed to survive and continue my education.
12. This semester I got to learn much new information. In my psy10200 class, I learned a lot about human psychology and mental health issues and why people behave the way they do. My INTL 20100 class helped me understand global issues, the danger of war, and imbalances in the international political economy.
13. Learning about genre helped me organize my information in writing; it helps the reader know what type of writing to expect. To make my writing understandable to my intended audience. Learning about the medium helped me.
14. The assignments in this class helped organize my writing. Now I can write using different genres to have more focused writing and also reach my targeted audience by making it more specific to them.
15. The rhetorical study helped me know how to influence an audience using words.
16. I created a colorful and simple painting, which was adequate for my intended m audience,around 14/to 15-year-old kids.

17. Knowing what I learned from this class, I approach future writing by meeting readers’ and writers’ needs, wants, and expectations.
18. The research process helped me know the sources I can get information from, how to conduct an interview, and review our work by our peers. This will help me write a research paper in the future.
